Who I Am
History
My name is Lenny Adams, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I attended Southern Connecticut State University where I studied School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I also served in the Connecticut Army National Guard for 20 years. I deployed to Kuwait in 2004 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Treatment Focus
I believe my clients are their own best support. You know yourself better than anyone else in this world. Sometimes we just need someone to listen and provide feedback to help reorient ourselves. I utilize Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Internal Family Systems.
Our Patient Promise
My promise to my clients is that I am not your usual counselor. We will laugh, cry, and it will get loud, but we will work together to find a way to get through your current struggles.
